Reservation and seating policies

The Never Blue is a reservation driven restaurant on WEEKEND nights. We do welcome walk-in guests and reserve a small number of tables to accommodate walk-in customers on busy weekend nights. Reservations are always recommended.

Reservations are accepted by phone only.

A hostess is here to answer the phone by 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All other times, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. We do not accept reservations via voicemail or email. We do not check messages or email on Sundays and Mondays. Reservation request messages left on the answering machine or email are simply requests and we do not guarantee availability if we do not speak to you personally. Voicemail reservation requests are called back on the next business day to accept the reservation.  Email reservation requests are not accepted for any reason. For voicemail requests, please clearly state name, and number of guests in party, date requested and especially your telephone phone number. Manager approval is needed for all parties over 6 ppl and require a valid credit card to hold the reservation.

We do not accept same day reservations after 4:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come first served basis depending on table size and special seating preference accommodation. We do not do “call ahead” seating.

We DO NOT seat incomplete parties.

OUTSIDE CAKE/DESSERT POLICY

We do not allow outside cakes or food to be brought into the restaurant. See below for our policy on bringing your own bottles of wine. We have an in-house Pastry Chef with an extensive menu of amazing desserts. We have simple, house-made cakes available for purchase with a 24 hour notice. If you would like something special for your event or celebration we can accommodate your needs with a 48 hour notice.

Large Party Policy

A large party reservation (over 6 people) will require a credit card to reserve, and must be confirmed the day before the reservation by the client (THIS MEANS YOU MUST CALL THE RESTAURANT TO CONFIRM) with a total number of guests. It is the clients’ responsibility to call and confirm a final number.

If your party is less than the number confirmed you will be charged $20.00 per head for anyone not present. Our ability to increase the number of diners in a party is very limited. Please assume that if your reservation is before 8:00pm, we have booked a table to follow on.  

Reservation Timing Policy

Large parties that are late for their reservation time are given ten minutes before we call the phone number that we have on file to ascertain arrival status. Make sure you do not give a phone number that is unreachable. Given the limited seating of the restaurant, fifteen minutes late with no contact will void your reservation. Please understand, this is solely due to the size and seating capacity of the restaurant. If you are late, we urge you to contact us so we can make our best effort to accommodate you and your party.

Other Policies

  • Separate checks can be accommodated, understand that this takes time. Your patience is appreciated.
  • Our handcrafted cocktails take at a minimum of three minutes each to prepare. Patience is appreciated
  • We are a tapas style restaurant and food comes to your table as it is prepared to ensure the best freshness, flavor and presentation. We do not hold food to accommodate course style eating.
  • We do allow guests to bring in their own wine with the exception of any wines we may have on our list. There is a corkage fee of $25.00 per bottle. Unfinished wine may be taken with you but the cork must be fully compressed and in a bag.
  • Guests with food allergies should inform your server at the beginning of your meal, prior to ordering. Please know and discuss your food allergies with the server so the chef can adjust your meal if possible.
  • Never Blue does not take To-Go / Carry Out orders on Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
  • The only menu we have available to you is the one on OUR website www.theneverblue.com and the one you will hold in your hand when dining with us. Past menus posted on social media and review sites by customers are not available.
  • All parties of five or more will have a service charge of 20% added to the total bill.
